Heavy Rainfall Expected Across Pakistan from Today till August 7th

Karachi:Pakistan’s Meteorological Department has predicted **heavy rainfall** across various parts of the country from **today** until **August 7th**.
On Sunday night, several areas in **Islamabad** experienced intermittent rainfall, leading to a pleasant change in the weather. In **Karachi**, light rain and drizzle were reported in some areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, **Islamabad**, **Punjab**, **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**, **Kashmir**, and **Gilgit-Baltistan** are likely to experience heavy rainfall during this period. **Balochistan** is expected to witness **intense rainfall** on **August 6th**.
Additionally, the **coastal areas of Sindh** are expected to remain partially cloudy with light showers or drizzle.
Meanwhile, the **Rawal Dam** has opened its spillways, and a **low-level flood** continues at **Kalla Bagh**, **Tunsa**, **Guddu**, and **Sukkur Barrages** along the **Indus River**. Authorities have advised caution in these areas.
