Honesty Test in Chakwal and Rawalpindi: People’s Integrity Shines Bright

Chakwal:In a remarkable experiment to test the integrity of the public, an **honesty test** was conducted in **Chakwal**, where a fruit cart was set up without a vendor, displaying the prices and a cash box for payments. The result was nothing short of impressive, leading to a similar experiment in **Rawalpindi**, which further reinforced the faith in people’s honesty.

The details of the experiment reveal that a **fruit cart** was set up in the **Chak Beli Khan area of Rawalpindi**, with a sign that read: “**Allah is watching. There is no vendor here, mangoes are 200 rupees per kilo**,” along with a **cash box** and **scale** for weighing the fruit. The cart was left unattended at around **11 AM** and closed by **6:30 PM**.

According to reports, the **total cost** of the mangoes was around **7,500 rupees**, which included **6,500 rupees for the mangoes** and **1,000 rupees for the cart’s rent and labor**. When the cash was counted at the end of the day, the **total income amounted to 7,450 rupees**, indicating only a **50 rupee shortfall**. The interesting part was that people had paid **honestly**, with some even **paying extra** for the mangoes.

The organizer shared that the **Chak Beli Khan experiment was 100% successful**, and while many had speculated the event might have been staged, he firmly stated, “**I swear by Allah, this is the truth, and it’s presented before you. Pakistan Zindabad.**”

This experiment not only highlighted the **honesty of the people** but also proved that despite challenges, **public integrity is still very much alive in Pakistan**.
