Another British Airline Granted Permission to Launch Direct Flights to Pakistan

Karachi: Pakistan’s aviation sector has received another positive boost as a new foreign airline has been granted permission to begin direct flight operations to the country.
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has approved the United Kingdom–based Norse Atlantic Airways to operate flights to Pakistan. Initially, the airline will launch direct flights from London to Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad.
According to sources, Norse Atlantic Airways also plans to operate direct flights to Pakistan from Manchester and Birmingham in the future. With this approval, Norse Atlantic becomes the second British airline to operate direct flights to Pakistan, alongside British Airways, which is already running regular services.
Officials at the Civil Aviation Authority stated that the entry of a new foreign airline into Pakistan’s aviation market is expected to create new employment opportunities and is being viewed as a positive development for the country’s economy.
The move reflects growing international confidence in Pakistan’s aviation sector and is likely to improve connectivity for passengers traveling between the UK and Pakistan.
