KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur Responds to India’s Move to Submit His Statement to FATF

Peshawar:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister **Ali Amin Gandapur** has strongly reacted to the Indian government’s decision to submit his statement as evidence against Pakistan to the **Financial Action Task Force (FATF)**. Gandapur stated that India had misrepresented his remarks by taking them out of context.

In his response, the CM emphasized that **India** is deeply involved in the terrorism within Pakistan and the broader region. He declared that he would personally take action to expose India’s role in **Kashmir** and **Gilgit-Baltistan** and would write a letter to FATF to highlight India’s involvement in terrorism, particularly in **Balochistan** and **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**.

Gandapur also vowed to work towards getting India placed back on the **FATF’s grey list**, stating that **Pakistan’s forces and people** have made immense sacrifices in combating terrorism. He sent a strong message to Indian Prime Minister **Narendra Modi**, asserting that **Pakistan** remains united in defending its sovereignty.

The controversy stems from **Gandapur’s earlier remarks** in which he had alleged that Pakistan’s institutions arrest **Taliban** members only for them to be released later. India has used this statement to bolster its stance against Pakistan in FATF, requesting the country be placed back on the grey list.

It’s worth noting that **FATF** had removed Pakistan from the grey list in **October 2022**, after the country spent **four years** on the list.
