Foreign Office Responds to Reports of President Donald Trump’s Alleged Visit to Pakistan

Islamabad – The Foreign Office of Pakistan has responded to media reports claiming that former U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Pakistan. In a statement to Reuters, Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said that there is no official information regarding such a visit.
The clarification comes after two Pakistani media channels aired reports suggesting that Donald Trump would visit Pakistan in September. According to the reports, the former U.S. President was expected to meet President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Asim Munir during his alleged trip.
However, the Foreign Office has firmly stated that it has no knowledge of any such plans.
Meanwhile, the Royal Palace has officially announced that Donald Trump and his wife will visit the United Kingdom from September 17 to 19 at the invitation of King Charles.
It is worth noting that during Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir’s recent visit to the United States, he held a special meeting with Donald Trump. The former U.S. President also hosted a luncheon in honor of the Pakistani military leader.
