Hafiz Hamdullah Criticizes KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur, Questions His Legitimacy

Peshawar:Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hamdullah has sharply criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, questioning his legitimacy after Gandapur’s recent remarks about Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

In his response, Hafiz Hamdullah remarked, “Ali Amin Gandapur, who has called Maulana Fazlur Rehman the beneficiary of Form 47, should explain under whose No Objection Certificate (NOC) he became the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is neither in the third nor the thirteenth place.”

According to Dawn News, the JUI-F leader went on to say that while the entire province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is burning, with its people yearning for peace, the Chief Minister is busy making plans to conquer Punjab, boasting in Lahore. “Ali Amin Gandapur’s government stands on the crutches of wealth and power; he did not win the 8th February elections with votes, but with money,” he added.

Hafiz Hamdullah further emphasized that voices of dissent were even emerging from within the PTI ranks against the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He noted the ongoing loss of lives in the province, with people constantly carrying the coffins of their loved ones, symbolizing the deteriorating security situation.

The exchange of barbs between the leaders of JUI-F and PTI highlights the growing political tension in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the provincial government’s legitimacy and its handling of security concerns remain hotly debated.
