Pakistan Marks 68th Martyrdom Anniversary of Major Tufail Muhammad, Nishan-e-Haider Recipient

ISLAMABAD:The 68th martyrdom anniversary of Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed, recipient of the Nishan-e-Haider, is being observed today, with the Armed Forces of Pakistan paying tribute to his bravery and supreme sacrifice.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major Tufail Muhammad demonstrated exceptional courage and determination while leading an operation against the enemy.

Despite sustaining severe injuries, he continued fighting with unwavering resolve and successfully ensured the completion of his mission.

In recognition of his extraordinary bravery and supreme sacrifice, Major Tufail Muhammad was awarded Pakistan’s highest military gallantry award, the Nishan-e-Haider.

The Armed Forces, Field Marshal, Chief of Naval Staff and Chief of Air Staff paid tribute to the fallen hero, praising his courage, patriotism and enduring legacy.

Major Tufail Muhammad’s courage, patriotism and supreme sacrifice will continue to inspire generations and serve as a guiding light for all those who defend the country.
