JI Leaders Praise Iran’s Response to Israeli Aggression, Urge Muslim Unity
Quetta:Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Balochistan and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA), Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch**, along with **Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman**, the Deputy Amir of the province, met with the Iranian Consul General **Mr. Rajavi** in Quetta. The meeting was held to express appreciation for Iran’s strong retaliatory actions against the ongoing **Israeli aggression** over the past five days, as well as to convey condolences from the Pakistani people for the tragic loss of **army officers**, **nuclear scientists**, and numerous **civilians** who were killed in the Israeli airstrikes. **Qari Abdul-Rahman** and **Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman** were also present during the meeting.
**Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch** commended the Iranian response and expressed support for the Iranian people’s bravery in defending themselves against Israeli attacks. He also urged the **Pakistani government** to take immediate action to **evacuate Pakistani nationals** from Iran and suggested that **borders** should be opened to facilitate the movement of **Iranian refugees**, as well as for **trade and aid**. He stressed the importance of opening borders for those affected by the conflict.
During the meeting, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman emphasized the necessity for a unified stance from the **Muslim world**, particularly from **Pakistan**, **Turkey**, and **Saudi Arabia**. He warned that if these countries do not support Iran, **Israel** and its ally **America** will shift their focus to **Pakistan** and **Turkey**. He further condemned **Israel** as an **illegal terrorist state** that, with the backing of the **United States**, has been occupying Palestinian and other Muslim lands, causing suffering to the people of Gaza and other regions.
The leader added, “Israel, the United States, and their allies have been responsible for killing innocent Muslims in Palestine, Gaza, Iraq, Syria, and other Muslim nations. The real enemy of the people of Pakistan and Turkey is the Zionist entity, which seeks to sow division among Muslim communities, including Sunni and Shia factions.” He criticized the silence of **Western media**, the **United Nations**, and the **United States** regarding Israel’s actions.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman strongly praised Iran for its **nuclear program**, calling it Iran’s **sovereign right**. He urged the Muslim world to stand united, stating, “This is the time for the **Muslim Ummah** to unite. If we do not confront the Israeli occupation together today, it will be our turn tomorrow.”
He concluded by calling for an **emergency summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)**, urging member states to adopt a **collective strategy** and take **decisive actions** against the Israeli and American terrorism. “Resistance is the way forward, while appeasement leads to cowardice,” Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman asserted.
