Fuel Price Surge Paralyzes Transport, Strands Passengers in Panjgur

PANJGUR: A sharp increase in petroleum prices has created severe difficulties for residents, disrupting transport and business activities in the area.

According to reports, no passenger coach departed from Panjgur to Quetta on the day, leaving travelers stranded and facing significant inconvenience.

Despite the availability of Iranian petrol in the city, prices have surged to as high as Rs350 per liter. Diesel prices have also witnessed a record increase, further aggravating the situation and halting transportation services.

Local business activities have been badly affected due to the rising fuel costs. Citizens expressed deep concern over the unprecedented price hike, questioning why rates have skyrocketed despite sufficient supply of fuel in the region.

Residents urged the district administration to take immediate notice of what they termed as unjustified price increases and provide relief to the public, who are struggling under the growing financial burden.
