1200 Pakistanis Return Home from Taftan Border Amid Ongoing Evacuations

Chagai: A total of 1200 Pakistanis have now returned to their homeland via the Taftan border, following the escalation of the Israel-Iran conflict. The process of repatriating Pakistani citizens stranded in Iran continues, with 78 more nationals crossing the border today.
According to Express News, 987 pilgrims and students returned to Pakistan over the last two days. Since the Israeli attacks began, a total of 1200 individuals have been transported via 37 buses from Taftan to various cities in Pakistan.
The returned citizens include traders, students, and pilgrims. The authorities have confirmed that the process of bringing back more Pakistanis is still ongoing. Among today’s arrivals, 47 students were among the 78 people who crossed into Pakistan.
The Levies Force reported that adequate facilities have been provided at the Pakistan House in Taftan for the returnees, including students, pilgrims, and traders. The repatriation efforts continue as more Pakistanis await their turn to return home safely.
