Balochistan Finalizes Preparations for FY 2025-26 Budget to Be Presented on June 17

Quetta:Preparations for Balochistan’s financial year 2025-26 budget are in their final stages. In this regard, Provincial Finance Secretary Imran Zarkoon and Special Finance Secretary Jahangir Kakar conducted a detailed visit to the provincial printing press yesterday. During the visit, they closely inspected the printing process of the budget documents, along with reviewing security protocols and other critical arrangements.
This visit indicates that the provincial government is on track to present the budget in the Balochistan Assembly on June 17, with all necessary preparations nearing completion.
Officials at the printing press briefed the finance secretaries on the progress of the budget document printing, security measures in place, and ensured that all tasks would be completed within the scheduled timeframe. Special attention was given to maintaining transparency and avoiding any lapses during the printing of such a sensitive document.
Finance Secretary Imran Zarkoon emphasized the importance of accuracy and punctuality in completing all stages of the budget preparation. “The budget sets the economic direction for the province, and any mistake or delay is unacceptable. We aim to ensure a smooth and comprehensive presentation of the budget in the Assembly on June 17,” he said.
Special Finance Secretary Jahangir Kakar praised the dedication and performance of the printing press team. He also acknowledged the relentless efforts of the finance department, which is working around the clock to finalize the budget. He stated that all relevant departments are working together to prepare a developmental and welfare-oriented budget for the people of Balochistan.
It is worth noting that the annual budget is expected to include new schemes and announcements aimed at improving the province’s development, law and order, and public welfare. The provincial government sees this budget as a key tool for economic stability and job creation in Balochistan.
