Balochistan Government Decides to Launch People’s Train with Pakistan Railways Collaboration

Quetta:The Balochistan government has decided to launch the People’s Train in collaboration with Pakistan Railways, which will run between Saryab and Kuchlak. As part of this decision, five old railway stations will be upgraded, and two new stations will be constructed. Additionally, the railway track will be upgraded to increase the train’s speed.
Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sardarfaraz Bugti, stated that the People’s Train service will provide the people of Quetta and surrounding areas with comfortable, high-quality, and affordable travel facilities. He added that this project is a realization of the dream of public convenience, affordable transportation, and a modern travel system, which will ease the daily commute for the citizens of Quetta, saving them both time and hassle.
The Chief Minister further mentioned that railway stations will be equipped with modern facilities to ensure a safe and dignified environment for passengers. He also emphasized that the Balochistan government is introducing people-friendly and sustainable transport projects. The People’s Train service is the first step towards development, and more actions will be taken soon.
