Pakistan Strongly Condemns Israel’s Unprovoked Airstrikes on Iran, Calls It a Violation of Sovereignty

Islamabad:Pakistan has vehemently condemned Israel’s recent unprovoked airstrikes on Iran, describing them as a direct violation of Iran’s sovereignty and regional integrity.
In a statement released on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that the attack not only tramples international law but also shakes the conscience of humanity. He emphasized that the airstrikes were an open violation of Iran’s sovereignty, adding that such actions undermine international legal frameworks and pose a serious threat to regional stability and global peace.
“Pakistan stands in full solidarity with the government and people of Iran,” Dar stated. “This heinous act has shaken the very foundations of international law, as well as humanity’s conscience, severely affecting regional stability and global peace.”
A formal statement issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs further condemned the Israeli aggression, expressing grave concern over the violation of Iran’s sovereignty. It stated that Israel’s actions were in direct contravention of the United Nations Charter and international law, underscoring that the attack warrants the strongest possible condemnation.
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iran has the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, and Pakistan not only acknowledges this right but also expresses full solidarity with the Iranian people.
“This Israeli provocation threatens the peace, security, and stability of the entire region, with repercussions that will be felt beyond regional borders,” the statement warned.
Pakistan has called upon the international community, particularly the United Nations, to uphold the rule of international law, immediately halt Israeli aggression, and hold the aggressor state accountable.
This stance comes at a time when Iran has hinted at severe retaliatory actions in response to Israel’s attacks, escalating tensions in the region to dangerous levels.
