Rahul Gandhi Accuses Modi of ‘Surrendering’ to Trump’s Demands

Indian National Congress leader **Rahul Gandhi** has launched a fresh attack on Prime Minister **Narendra Modi**, alleging that he readily surrenders to external pressure, even from foreign leaders like former U.S. President **Donald Trump**.
Speaking at a Congress party conference in **Bhopal**, Madhya Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi mocked the BJP and RSS, saying:
> “Trump made a signal, picked up the phone and said, ‘Narendra, surrender!’ And Modi, who is used to writing surrender letters, obeyed like a loyal servant.”
Rahul further claimed that the BJP and RSS leadership is weak under pressure, stating:
> “I know these people very well. Apply a little pressure, give them a little push, and they panic and run. RSS has always had a habit of surrendering.”
He emphasized that the ideology of surrender is embedded in BJP and RSS leadership, contrasting it with what he described as the Congress party’s historical stance of resistance and resilience.
The comments have sparked fresh controversy in India’s heated political environment, especially as the country continues to navigate its post-election political landscape.
