Punjab Chief Minister Meets Provincial Assembly Members, Issues Key Directives

Lahore: Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz held a meeting with Provincial Assembly members Muhammad Ahmad Khan Leghari and Naeem Akhtar Khan Bhabha to discuss ongoing welfare initiatives, public issues, and development projects in their respective constituencies.
During the meeting, the lawmakers praised the provincial government’s developmental and welfare projects. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized that public service is her core mission and reiterated her commitment to transforming Punjab into a model province. She stated that youth education and financial independence remain top priorities, and the goal is to ensure that the benefits of development reach every part of the province.
Naeem Akhtar Khan Bhabha expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for initiating the Multan-Vehari Road expansion project. In response to his request, Maryam Nawaz ordered the commencement of classes at Vehari Girls College and directed Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat to ensure classes begin after the holidays.
Additionally, on the request of MPA Muhammad Ahmad Leghari, the Chief Minister approved a water supply project for Kot Addu.
The assembly members lauded Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her transparent governance and transformative initiatives in a short span of time. They highlighted the impact of inclusive programs such as the Kisan Card, Minority Card, Ration Card, Himat Card, and Education Card.
They also appreciated initiatives like the Honahar Scholarship, Laptop Scheme, and E-Bikes Project, which they said have won the hearts of students across the province.
