Dry Weather Expected Nationwide on Eid ul-Adha, June 7 – No Rain Forecast

ISLAMABAD:As Pakistan prepares to celebrate **Eid ul-Adha on June 7**, one of the most frequently asked questions among citizens is about the weather – especially with regard to rain, which can create challenges during the ritual of animal sacrifice and meat handling in already hot conditions.

While recent days have seen rain and storm warnings from the Meteorological Department and showers across several regions, the forecast for **Eid day appears largely favorable**, according to **BBC Weather**.

Here is the **city-wise weather forecast for June 7**:

* **Islamabad:** Dry weather expected with **no chance of rain**. Temperatures will range between a **maximum of 37°C and a minimum of 22°C**.

* **Lahore:** The weather will remain **hot and dry**, with **no rain predicted**. Maximum temperature is expected at **42°C**, with a low of **27°C**.

* **Karachi:** The southern port city will also experience **dry conditions**, with no rain expected. The temperature will fluctuate between **35°C (high)** and **27°C (low)**.

* **Peshawar:** Dry weather is forecast with temperatures peaking at **40°C** and dipping to **26°C**, with **no rain expected**.

* **Quetta:** The provincial capital of Balochistan will also remain **dry** on Eid day, with temperatures between **35°C and 17°C**, and **no chance of rainfall**.

The nationwide dry forecast will likely provide **favorable conditions for Eid celebrations**, especially for those performing **Qurbani (sacrifice)**. Citizens are advised, however, to **take necessary precautions against heat** while handling animals and meat in the hot summer temperatures.
