**Attempt to Smuggle 50kg of Silver from Afghanistan Foiled; Customs Seize Rs30 Million Worth of Silver**

**Pishin (Qudrat Daily):** Pakistan Customs in Pishin successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of silver from Afghanistan. According to customs officials, a suspicious vehicle was intercepted near the Yaroo Check Post, where 50 kilograms of silver were recovered. The seized silver is estimated to be worth over Rs30 million in the local market.

A spokesperson for Customs said the silver was being illegally transported from Afghanistan into Pakistan. However, timely action by customs personnel led to the vehicle being stopped and the smuggled goods confiscated.

Authorities have taken the vehicle and seized silver into custody, launching a full-scale investigation into the smuggling network. Initial reports suggest that further raids may be conducted to identify and apprehend other individuals connected to the operation.
