Court Allows Police to Conduct Photogrammetric and Polygraphic Tests of Imran Khan Again

Lahore: An anti-terrorism court in Lahore has granted police permission to once again conduct photogrammetric and polygraphic tests of PTI founder Imran Khan.
According to Express News, the hearing on the prosecution’s request to re-administer the tests was held in the anti-terrorism court. Judge Manzar Ali Gul issued the verdict, allowing police to proceed with the tests and instructed them to submit a report by June 9.
Earlier, the prosecution submitted Imran Khan’s response to the court, in which DSP Legal Javed stated that the investigation cannot be completed without these tests. He urged the PTI founder to cooperate with the investigating officers and assured the court that the police would ensure justice is visibly done.
The report presented in court further revealed that Imran Khan had refused to undergo both tests. He reportedly declined in writing on two occasions and verbally rejected the request a third time.
The police had petitioned the court for permission to conduct the tests as part of the ongoing investigation, particularly in connection with the Jinnah House arson and vandalism case. Imran Khan currently faces at least 12 cases related to these incidents.
