India Targeting Innocent Children Through Terrorism in Balochistan After Military Defeat: CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta – Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on a school in Khuzdar, labeling it a reflection of India’s cowardly and brutal mindset. Addressing a press conference at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Wednesday alongside provincial ministers and government officials, Bugti stated that the attack, which claimed the lives of four children and left 43 injured, was a heinous and unforgivable crime against humanity.
He said that India, frustrated by its defeat in warfare, is now resorting to terrorism in Balochistan to achieve its nefarious objectives, and is even targeting innocent children. “This attack is not only a blow to the affected families but a strike at the soul of our society. Those responsible will be hunted down and brought to justice. The blood of our children will not go in vain,” the Chief Minister vowed.
Bugti revealed that preliminary investigations indicate the blast was carried out using a remote-controlled device, although further inquiry will determine whether it was a suicide attack or another method. He mentioned prior intelligence about an Indian agent, “Ajay Deol,” who was reportedly planning attacks in Balochistan, but said authorities did not anticipate that children would be the target.
Calling out certain local elements, Bugti asserted that some individuals are executing India’s agenda for money, betraying their own people. “Those who call themselves Baloch and kill children have no connection with Baloch traditions,” he said, sending a clear message that the state has so far exercised restraint, but it should not be mistaken for weakness.
He announced that no large-scale operation is planned, but a smart and targeted campaign against terrorists will be launched, ensuring effective results without causing widespread disruption. “Terrorists have no real power. It’s fear that keeps people silent. I urge the public to rise against them,” Bugti said.
Citing recent counterterrorism successes in Musakhel, Nushki, and against the Jaffar Express attackers, he pledged that the perpetrators of the Khuzdar school attack will also be eliminated. “I swear on the blood of these children—we will bring each and every one of these terrorists to justice,” he added.
Bugti also reminded the interim Afghan government of its commitment under the Doha Agreement not to allow its soil to be used against any country, highlighting that most attacks in Balochistan originate from Afghan territory. “This tragedy has shaken us. It is time for a decisive crackdown on all terrorists to cleanse Balochistan of this menace,” he emphasized.
He concluded by saying that separatist movements in Balochistan would meet the same fate as failed independence attempts elsewhere, such as the Kurdish movement in Turkey. “No Baloch is killing Punjabis—terrorists are targeting Pakistanis. No one will be allowed to impose their ideology through violence. We will see these terrorists meet their logical end.”
