Balochistan Government Declares Rakhshan, Makran, and Zhob Divisions as “A” Areas

Quetta:The Balochistan government has officially declared all the revenue areas of Rakhshan, Makran, and Zhob divisions as “A” areas. In a significant move, the Balochistan Home Department has issued a notification recognizing these divisions as “A” areas, granting full administrative control to the police, with powers previously held by the Levies force now transferred to the police.

The decision aims to strengthen law enforcement and enhance the administrative efficiency in these regions. With this shift, police will now have full jurisdiction and operational authority in matters related to law and order, marking a major transition in the security dynamics of these areas. The notification has been formally issued by the Balochistan Home Department, signaling a new phase of governance in the province.
