Pakistan Vows Decisive Response to Indian Aggression: ISPR Spokesperson

Rawalpindi: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has strongly condemned recent Indian aggression, warning that Pakistan will decisively address India’s misconceptions about the Pakistani nation.
In a media briefing following the Indian attack, the DG ISPR asserted that Pakistan will choose the “time and place” to respond to the Indian provocation. He described the enemy as “cowardly and petty,” highlighting that Indian aircraft were only shot down after they violated Pakistani airspace.
General Chaudhry revealed that Indian forces targeted mosques in Pakistan, showcasing their narrow-mindedness. However, he emphasized that the Pakistani Armed Forces, backed by the unwavering support of the nation, retaliated within moments, delivering a powerful response.
He confirmed that the Pakistan Air Force successfully downed five Indian fighter jets, including three Rafales, one MiG-29, and one Sukhoi aircraft. Additionally, seven Indian drones were also destroyed.
The DG ISPR further disclosed that at the time of the Indian attack, there were 57 international commercial aircraft in Pakistani airspace, accusing India of endangering civilian lives from multiple countries.
He also condemned the targeting of the Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project, calling it unacceptable and dangerous. General Chaudhry warned that hitting such critical infrastructure poses serious regional risks.
