Balochistan CM Condemns Machh Terror Attack, Vows Stern Action Against Perpetrators
Quetta:Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on a security forces’ vehicle in the Machh area of Kachhi district, terming it an assault on national security.
In a statement issued following the incident, the Chief Minister attributed the attack to the banned outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), accusing it of acting on Indian directives to destabilize the province. “This tragic event is part of a systematic anti-state agenda designed to spread chaos in Balochistan and demoralize the people,” he said.
Paying tribute to the seven soldiers of the Pakistan Army who were martyred in the attack, CM Bugti said, “Their sacrifice is a source of pride for the entire nation. We owe a debt to our martyrs and will never let their sacrifices go in vain. The terrorists will be brought to justice.”
He assured that all such conspiracies against the province would be thwarted with full force. “Actions against the enemies of peace will be intensified, and those who target innocent lives will be made an example,” he asserted.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s full support to the families of the martyrs, stating that the entire state stands with them in their time of grief. “The nation salutes its martyrs. Their sacrifices are a guarantee of our freedom, sovereignty, and peaceful future,” he added.
He directed security institutions to accelerate operations against terrorists and take all necessary measures to ensure the province’s peace and stability.
