Hassan Ali Opens Up on Comeback, Personal Growth, and Message of Peace

Lahore:Pakistan’s fast bowler Hassan Ali has reflected on his time away from the national team, sharing how he used the period to improve his fitness, discipline, and correct flaws in his bowling.

“When you’re consistently playing, you often don’t realize what bad habits are creeping into your bowling,” said Hassan. “I used my break to work on those missing elements and refine my skills.”

Addressing personal matters, Hassan Ali — whose wife hails from India — shared that Indo-Pak tensions never cause arguments between them. “It’s better to leave such matters to politicians. Similar situations have arisen in the past as well, but our job is to play cricket,” he stated.

Hassan emphasized the value of peace over conflict, saying, “War never solves anything — peace does. I love my country, and she loves hers. But we never argue about it.”

His calm, composed stance serves as a reminder that sports can bridge divides and that athletes, despite national boundaries, often promote unity and mutual respect.
