Rocket Fire Reported in Quetta; City Placed on High Security Alert

Quetta: Rocket fire was reported from an unknown direction in multiple areas of Quetta, including Akhtar Muhammad Road, Shanti Nagar, Faqeer Muhammad Road, and near Mir Ahmed Khan Road, prompting a swift response from security agencies.
According to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Quetta, no casualties have been reported so far, but security forces were immediately mobilized following the incident.
SSP CTD Imran Shaukat stated that search operations are underway in various parts of the city in coordination with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and other law enforcement agencies. Efforts to trace the suspects have been intensified, and suspected locations are being thoroughly checked.
The DIG Quetta confirmed that a high security alert has been imposed across the city, with strict monitoring at all entry and exit points. All relevant security units have been activated to ensure public safety.
Authorities have urged citizens to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station to help ensure timely action.
