BUITEMS Opens Doors to All Students of Balochistan Through “Open Day” Event

QUETTA: Vice Chancellor of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Professor Dr. Khalid Hafeez, has said that the university is opening its educational, research, and practical resources for every student and academic community in Balochistan so that no learner in the province is deprived of knowledge.
Speaking at a special event titled *“Open Day”* organized for college students across Balochistan, Dr. Hafeez said that BUITEMS is not limited to its enrolled students but belongs to every individual who values knowledge and learning. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of universities to instill a passion for education in the younger generation, noting that the enthusiasm of visiting school and college students at BUITEMS was remarkable and encouraging.
The *Open Day* event saw participation from over 2,000 students and teachers representing more than 18 colleges from across the province. The program included orientation sessions, visits to BUITEMS’ faculties, awareness stalls, and interactive meetings with faculty members, providing students with valuable guidance for their future academic pursuits.
The Vice Chancellor praised Dr. Naeem Shahwani and his team for successfully organizing the event, adding that such initiatives strengthen the academic link between BUITEMS and colleges. He said that BUITEMS’ modern facilities—including libraries, sports grounds, and expert faculty—are assets available to every student of Balochistan.
