Shahid Afridi Dons Military Uniform at Wagah Border, Sends Strong Message to India

Wagah Border (Qudrat Daily) – Former Pakistan cricket team captain and star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi has once again made headlines, this time for appearing at the Wagah Border in full military attire, expressing solidarity with Pakistan Army personnel.
Afridi, known for his outspoken patriotism, shared a video on his Instagram and other social media platforms, showcasing his presence among the soldiers at the iconic border crossing. The video quickly went viral, with fans praising his passionate display of love for the nation.
In the video, Afridi is seen sitting with the troops, smiling, and delivering a powerful message directed at India:
“If you come with respect, we’ll serve you tea. If you show aggression, you’ll get a response.”
Addressing India directly, he added:
“If you visit our home with respect, we will not only welcome you but serve you tea. But if you come with hostility, our history, traditions, and culture will be our response.”
Afridi also criticized India’s water policies, stating:
“By stopping the water, you’re only harming yourselves — soon, there will be no one left to make tea for your guests.”
These comments follow Afridi’s recent strong criticism of the Indian Army after the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. He questioned the Indian military’s capabilities, saying:
“Despite having 800,000 troops, you couldn’t protect your own citizens. That just proves your incompetence.”
His remarks triggered a wave of backlash in India, with Indian media and former cricketers reacting strongly.
Afridi’s appearance at the border in military uniform was met with applause across Pakistani social media. Admirers hailed his patriotic spirit, with one user writing,
“A true patriot shows love not just through words, but through action.”
Afridi’s bold stance, both in words and presence, has resonated with fans and sent a clear message to critics — he stands with courage and conviction.
