Australia is set to face either India or New Zealand in the semi-final next week, but Short, who sustained a knee injury during the match against Afghanistan, might be sidelined.

Australia’s captain, Steve Smith, expressed doubts about Short’s recovery, stating, “I don’t think Matthew Short will be fit for the semi-final. He’s struggling, and he couldn’t move much. There might not be enough time for him to get fit.”
