PTI Faces Government’s Offer Amidst Ongoing Negotiations

Islamabad:The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been informed that if they participate in today’s negotiations, the government has an offer ready for them. According to sources, the government is not dismissing PTI’s demands outright but instead is prepared to propose a middle ground.
In a report by Ansar Abbasi, published in *Jang* and *The News*, members of the government’s negotiating committee have stated that, while they believe a commission cannot be formed for matters currently under judicial review, the option of creating a parliamentary committee is being considered.
PTI had demanded the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9 and November 26. In response, Prime Minister’s Advisor Rana Sanaullah raised the question of what benefit PTI had gained by abandoning the negotiation process.
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar once again announced that he would not participate in the fourth round of negotiations with the government scheduled for today.
Additionally, Senator Irfan Siddiqui stated that if PTI does not participate in the meeting on Tuesday, the Speaker’s committee will be dissolved, and the government will respond to any actions PTI takes outside the negotiations.
