Quetta: Acid Attack Victim Lady Doctor Mahnoor Naseer Awaits Treatment in US, Visa Becomes Obstacle
QUETTA (Quadrat Daily) — Lady doctor Mahnoor Naseer, who was the victim of an acid attack in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, has said she needs to go to the United States for further treatment, but her treatment is being hampered because she has not yet received a US visa.
According to Dr. Mahnoor Naseer, acid was thrown at her at Civil Hospital Quetta on 6 June this year, as a result of which she was severely affected.
She said the Chief Minister of Balochistan has provided full support for her treatment, for which she is grateful, but she needs to go to the US for further treatment and is waiting because the visa has not been granted.
The attention of the relevant authorities is needed to remove the visa obstacle facing Dr. Mahnoor Naseer’s travel to the US for further treatment so that her treatment can proceed.
