Ban Imposed on Holiday Fee Collection by Private Schools in Quetta

QUETTA: Deputy Commissioner Quetta West has imposed a ban on private schools collecting fees during school holidays, issuing an official notification in light of a Balochistan High Court ruling.
Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Durrani has directed private schools to ensure strict compliance with the court’s decision. The restriction on holiday fee collection will take effect in accordance with the terms of the notification.
According to officials, strict action will be taken against private schools found collecting fees during holidays in violation of the orders.
Private schools charging fees for winter vacations may face cancellation of their registration and sealing of their premises, officials warned.
The deputy commissioner has also urged parents to immediately report complaints regarding the collection of holiday fees to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office or the relevant education department authorities.
Officials said the complaints would help the administration take timely action against schools violating the court’s ruling and the official notification.
The move aims to ensure compliance with the court’s decision and provide relief to parents against the collection of fees during school holidays.
