Tribal Leader Mir Norez Khan Umrani Martyred Along With His Guard in Firing by Unknown Armed Motorcyclists in Nasirabad Area; One Person Injured

DERA MURAD JAMALI (Qudrat Daily) — Tribal leader Mir Norez Khan Umrani was martyred along with his guard while one person was injured in firing by unknown armed motorcyclists in the Nasirabad area. According to police, on Sunday, in the jurisdiction of Tambo Baba Kot police station in the Nasirabad area, unknown armed motorcyclists opened fire, killing tribal leader Mir Norez Khan Umrani and his guard Arif Muhammad Khosa, while injuring one person, and fled from the scene.

Police stated that the unknown motorcyclists targeted the tribal leader while he was returning from a dinner. The martyred tribal leader Norez Khan Umrani is said to be the cousin of Provincial Advisor for Labour and Power Sardar Baba Ghulam Rasool Umrani.

As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy contingent of police reached the scene and shifted the bodies and the injured to the hospital, where the bodies were handed over to the heirs after necessary procedures. Police have cordoned off the entire area and started searching for the accused.
