Eyes Deprived of Light, Heart Illuminated by the Light of Divine Word: Elderly Man’s Love for the Quran in Masjid al-Nabawi Touches Hearts
Islamabad (Daily Quudrat) – An extremely emotional and faith-inspiring video recorded inside Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah Munawwarah is touching the hearts of Muslims around the world on social media. In the video, an elderly man, who is apparently deprived of eyesight, is holding the Holy Quran with both hands.
This scene is from the section of Masjid al-Nabawi where cupboards containing copies of the Holy Quran are kept. The elderly man is sitting there, and despite not having eyesight, he is touching the cover of the Holy Quran with his hands and pressing it against his face and eyes.
This elderly man is a clear example of the fact that despite being unable to see the world, his heart is illuminated by the light of the Divine Word.
