Drone Attack on Ras Tanura Refinery; Facility Temporarily Shut Down

Riyadh: A drone attack targeted a refinery in Ras Tanura, prompting authorities to temporarily shut down operations as a precautionary measure.

According to international media reports, the refinery was closed following the incident. However, officials later stated that the situation is now under control.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks on Riyadh and the Eastern Province, stressing that such assaults cannot be justified under any pretext.

In an official statement, the ministry said the attacks were carried out despite Iranian authorities being aware that Saudi Arabia would not allow its airspace or territory to be used to target Iran.

Tensions in the region remain high following the incident, as security measures have been intensified across key installations.
