“Bloodshed at Kohat Police Lines Mosque: Peace in Pashtunkhwa Being Destroyed Through State Proxies and Manufactured Terrorism; Open Anti-Pashtun Hostility Unacceptable” — Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party

“Explosion in Mosque Is a Heinous Conspiracy to Spread Religious Hatred; Economic and Physical Genocide of Pashtuns Across the Country Must Stop”
“Provincial Government Should Wake from Its Slumber, Expose the Culprits Involved, and Punish Them Exemplarily” — Central Press Release
Quetta (Daily Qudrat): In a press release issued by the Central Secretariat of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), the barbaric and terrorist incident at the Old Police Lines Mosque in Kohat — in which more than 21 people were martyred and over 50 injured — has been condemned in the strongest possible terms. The statement said that Pashtun trade, business, and Pashtuns across the entire country have been made victims of insecurity, and there is an attempt to destroy peace and order in Pashtunkhwa, the homeland, through manufactured and state proxies, and to impose fear and panic on the people — the failure of which is a national responsibility of every patriotic and democratic individual.
The statement said that once again, an explosion in a mosque is tantamount to increasing religious hatred and inviting public wrath and anger. The party termed this act as open anti-Pashtun hostility, murder, and terrorism, and demanded that the provincial government conduct an immediate investigation, arrest the culprits, and punish them severely. It added that it is among the government’s responsibilities to take steps to bring peace to Pashtunkhwa, the homeland.
In conclusion, the statement said that the party considers itself an equal partner in the grief of the bereaved families, prays for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, and wishes a speedy recovery for the injured.
