Alleged Tactics to Sabotage KP CM Sohail Afridi’s Punjab Visit Exposed

Lahore (Qudrat Daily) — Alleged tactics to sabotage Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s visit to Punjab have come to light. The family of the house in Sialkot where the KP Chief Minister was to stay overnight has alleged that the electricity of the house where Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was to stay was cut off.

They further alleged that their generators were then seized, and batteries were also taken away from the house so that the UPS could not function. The electricity of the entire surrounding area was also shut down.

In this regard, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shafi Jan, in a statement on X, said that last night an armed person near Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was arrested by the security staff; he was carrying a pistol. The armed person’s target was Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.

Wherever the Chief Minister goes, the electricity there is cut off. In Sialkot, where accommodation was arranged, the electricity was disconnected, while generators were also damaged. In Wazirabad, a railway crossing on Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s route was closed and the key was taken away by the DPO. The Punjab Police’s forcing business centers and markets to close is proof of the government’s fear and panic. The Punjab Police has created a curfew-like situation in Punjab. The Punjab government’s illegal actions are the worst example of open fascism and political revenge.
