“If 400,000 People Take to the Streets in the September 27 March, Imran Khan’s Release Could Become Possible”

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — PTI National Assembly member Sher Afzal Khan Marwat has said that if 400,000 people take to the streets in the September 27 march, Imran Khan’s release could become possible. According to his video on X, Sher Afzal Marwat said that, God willing, whenever Khan Sahib comes out, he will personally grasp all matters.

Khan Sahib has been imprisoned for nearly three years — whether it be solitary confinement, health issues, distance from the media, or complete and accurate information not reaching him. In such complex circumstances, it is not right to expect Khan Sahib to know the complete picture of every matter.

Sher Afzal Marwat said that when a campaign is being run on one’s own social media declaring one’s own leadership and workers traitors, then in such circumstances the emergence of doubts and suspicions is a natural thing.

I have no doubt that when Khan Sahib comes out, he will understand all matters within a day or two and will come to know himself who stood with him in difficult times and who betrayed him.

He further said that if 400,000 people take to the streets in the September 27 march, the path to Imran Khan’s release could be paved. On the other hand, in Lahore, rallies and activities regarding the street movement are continuing by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi said that he is still in Lahore today, and God willing, he will set out again at five o’clock for the street movement. Yesterday, we did not give any call in Lahore, yet the people of Lahore came out on the streets in large numbers on their own. We had not told anyone where we were going; the people of Lahore came out themselves. Punjab Police erected barriers in our paths and closed all routes. Wherever we were going, the lights there were turned off, petrol pumps were shut down, and owners were stopped from giving petrol to our vehicles.

Tents were uprooted from our place of stay and arriving workers were arrested. The people of Lahore came out on the streets in large numbers yesterday without any call. The people of Lahore will come out today as well. The fake government and police of Punjab should come to their senses. If the attitude does not change today as well, then after the ongoing meeting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a strong reaction will come.
