Eliminating Unemployment and Ensuring Public Prosperity Is the Top Priority of the Current Government: Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta), September 10: Balochistan’s Senior Provincial Minister, member of the Pakistan Peoples Party Central Committee and Parliamentary Leader, and Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani has said that the serious efforts being made by the current provincial government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti for the elimination of unemployment, establishment of peace and order, and the development and prosperity of the people have begun to bear fruit and reach the public. He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held at the Sikandar Jamali Auditorium of the Civil Secretariat on Wednesday regarding the provision of orders to promoted employees of the Irrigation Department. On this occasion, besides officers and officials of the Irrigation Department, office-bearers of the Clerks Union and a large number of other people were present.

Addressing the ceremony, the Provincial Minister said that the Chief Minister of Balochistan and the provincial government consider the elimination of unemployment their top priority. Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani said that when he was given the responsibility of the ministry, he initiated work on the pending case of appointments under the deceased quota, and at the same ceremony, issued posting orders to 117 widows and orphaned dependents. He said that giving employment or promotion orders to a needy deserving person is a matter of pride for him, and the happiness he feels from this noble deed cannot be expressed in words.

Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani congratulated the promoted employees and expressed hope that they would perform their duties honestly and play their role in the development of the department and the province. On this occasion, officers and others who addressed the ceremony congratulated the promoted employees. They said that as a result of the excellent efforts of Provincial Minister Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Secretary Irrigation Sohailur Rehman Baloch, and their team, the department is achieving milestones of progress. They said that a wave of joy has spread throughout the department after hundreds of deserving employees received promotion orders. They expressed hope that the promoted employees would leave no stone unturned in performing their duties with even greater dedication.
