Wildfire in Los Angeles Suburbs Expands to 3,000 Acres, Emergency Declared
Los Angeles:A wildfire in the suburban areas of Los Angeles has rapidly spread due to strong winds, reaching 3,000 acres in size, according to foreign media reports.
The fire, which initially started on 10 acres in the Pacific Palisades area of California, has been expanding rapidly. Firefighters are struggling to contain the flames, which have spread across a vast area of dry forest land.
In response to the growing threat, emergency measures have been implemented in Los Angeles, and authorities have issued evacuation orders for 30,000 residents. As the fire continues to grow, multiple homes have already been affected, and officials have advised 10,000 additional households to evacuate immediately.
In addition to Pacific Palisades, evacuation orders have been extended to the Santa Monica Mountains area, with residents urged to leave their homes for safety.
As a result of the widespread fire and high winds, approximately 46,000 homes and businesses in Los Angeles are currently without power.
Fire authorities continue to battle the blaze, and local officials are working to keep the public informed as the situation develops. The fire’s impact on the city is expected to escalate, with strong winds complicating containment efforts.
