UAE Introduces New Visa Application Process for Applicants

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has implemented a new visa application process, which comes with revised requirements for visa seekers. The UAE Embassy has issued fresh guidelines for applicants, detailing the steps and necessary documentation for applying for various types of visas, including tourist, visit, and family visas.

According to the embassy’s spokesperson, the visa application fee has been set at 69 USD per person. Except for employment visas, all other visas will require applicants to apply online. Once an application is submitted, the applicant will receive a notification to visit the embassy or a visa center for further processing.

**Key Requirements for Applicants:**
1. **Visa Application Proof:** Applicants must have proof of their visa application.
2. **Bank Statement:** Applicants need to provide a signed and stamped bank statement for the last 6 months from themselves or their sponsor, with a minimum balance of 5,000 USD or its equivalent.
3. **Hotel Reservation/Accommodation Proof:** Proof of hotel reservation or staying with relatives must be submitted.
4. **Return Flight Ticket:** Applicants must provide a confirmed return ticket.
5. **Identification Documents:** Original National ID or Passport, which should be valid for at least six months, must be brought along.
6. **Visa Fee Payment:** The 69 USD visa fee must be deposited into the designated Al-Falah bank account, with the original receipt to be brought to the embassy or visa center.

**Special Instructions for Children:**
– Children under 5 years old do not need to visit the visa center but must provide a passport-sized photo with a white background.
– For children between 6 and 15 years, their photo will be taken at the visa center.
– Applicants aged 15 or above must visit the visa center for processing, including biometric data collection.

This new process aims to streamline the visa application experience and ensure all procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
