Special Commemorative Stamp Featuring Arshad Nadeem Released on Independence Day
Islamabad: On the occasion of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, a special commemorative stamp titled “Resolve and Stability” has been issued by the government on the special instruction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The stamp features an image of Pakistan’s javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem, as a tribute to his remarkable achievement.
Arshad Nadeem set a new Olympic record by throwing the javelin 92.97 meters at the Paris Olympics, earning a gold medal and becoming an exemplary figure for the younger generation.
The stamp, titled “Resolve and Stability,” symbolizes the country’s commitment to progress and stability. It also includes an image of Minar-e-Pakistan, highlighting both the struggle for Pakistan’s independence and its symbolic significance.
The stamp, issued by the Government of Pakistan on Independence Day, aims to inform future generations about the country’s fight for freedom, sacrifices made, and the ongoing efforts and commitment of the Pakistani government towards national stability.
