China Expresses Full Support for Pakistan’s Efforts Against Terrorism, Condemns Jaffer Express Attack

Islamabad:Chinese Consul General Yang Yudong has expressed full support for Pakistan’s efforts in combating terrorism, stating that Pakistan can successfully overcome terrorism with global cooperation. He strongly condemned the recent attack on the Jaffer Express, where passengers were taken hostage, and offered condolences to the victims and their families.

In his statement, Yang highlighted the importance of international collaboration in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Pakistan in this regard.

He also mentioned that significant progress is expected this year on the Khunjerab to Gojal realignment of the Karakoram Highway, a key project under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Yang emphasized that 2025 would be a crucial year for the development of CPEC, bringing significant benefits to the people of both countries.

China and Pakistan, through their collaborative efforts, are expected to transform their shared aspirations into reality, with the CPEC project playing a pivotal role in strengthening bilateral ties.
