Quetta:Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE), Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran, has refuted claims linking him to the banned organization led by Zeer Zeb Bashir Zeb, asserting his Baloch identity and cultural values that prioritize utmost respect for women. In an interview with Quetta Roznama, Khetran categorically denied allegations that Dr. Mahrang Baloch, a foreign agenda advocate, was inciting anti-state slogans or protests within the country.
“We have verified that Zeer Zeb Baloch is not under the protection of our institutions and police. He should refrain from raising slogans for an independent Balochistan. I am a son of this soil, proudly proclaiming ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. We respect state institutions and have no desire for freedom because we are already living in a free Pakistan,” Khetran stated emphatically.
He emphasized that anyone causing disturbances akin to warfare in the Red Zone, where government offices and legislative assembly members reside, would not be tolerated. However, he clarified that doors for dialogue with the Balochistan government are always open for negotiations.
“We will not allow Dr. Mahrang Baloch to become the owner of Balochistan. Her speeches stating she will set Balochistan on fire are equivalent to inciting war. Madam, you pursue your politics. If you want to climb mountains, go climb them. If you want to leave the country, then leave. We will not allow you to spread unrest in our regions,” Khetran asserted.
He questioned the source of funding for recent activities and compared the lifestyle Dr. Mahrang Baloch enjoyed in England, questioning her family’s ability to afford such extravagance. Khetran reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding Pakistan and its territory, emphasizing that the nation’s protection is well-understood.
