Special Public Prosecutor Issues Guidelines for Police in Mustafa Amir Murder Case

In the Mustafa Amir murder case, the Special Public Prosecutor has issued comprehensive guidelines for the police. The guidelines instruct law enforcement to immediately send all items seized from the accused, Armaghan, for forensic analysis and to assess the activities of Armaghan’s close associates for potential criminal charges.

The prosecutor has also directed the police to gather information on Armaghan’s illegal activities from the head of the area’s security and the property owner. Additionally, the local intelligence units, as well as the Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Darakhshan police stations, are to be consulted regarding the suspect’s activities.

Further, the prosecutor has advised police to investigate Armaghan’s father and check his criminal record. Investigations are also to be conducted regarding the prohibited weapons and walkie-talkies found at Armaghan’s residence. The guidelines also include an inquiry into digital safe lockers and two identity cards discovered at his home.

The Special Public Prosecutor has also instructed the police to investigate Armaghan’s alleged links to banned organizations, his involvement in money laundering, and other unlawful activities. The prosecutor emphasized the importance of retrieving the phones involved in the ransom calls made during Mustafa Amir’s abduction, and directed that both the accused’s and the victim’s mother’s phones be added to the case property.

Lastly, the prosecutor has instructed the police to obtain the bank accounts, phone data, and travel history of both Armaghan and Mustafa Amir. Additionally, the Special Public Prosecutor has asked for clarification on the letter written to the SSP of Hub regarding the transfer of the case to Karachi.
