PTI Leader Latif Khosa Claims 278 Party Workers Killed in Islamabad Protest
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Latif Khosa has claimed that 278 PTI workers lost their lives during the protests in Islamabad on Tuesday. Speaking on a private TV channel, Khosa stated that the party’s workers were killed in the violence that erupted during the protest.
When the host of the program asked Khosa to provide the names of any of the deceased workers, he responded that the information had been provided by the Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, he did not offer any specific names or further details.
Khosa also mentioned that 1,900 PTI workers were injured in the protests, many of them reportedly by gunfire. However, he failed to present any concrete evidence or documentation to support these claims, stating that the evidence would be provided at a later time.
The claims come amid growing tensions following the protests, with PTI leaders alleging excessive use of force by the authorities against party workers.
