Nasir Adeeb Shares the Love Story of Kubra Khan and Gohar Rashid

Lahore:Renowned filmmaker Nasir Adeeb recently opened up about the romantic journey of actors Kubra Khan and Gohar Rashid, revealing how they grew closer over the years. In a podcast, Adeeb shared insightful details about their relationship, mentioning that they had been friends for nine years before becoming a couple.

Adeeb, who had signed both actors for his film *Main London Nahi Jaoonga*, explained how the film marked the beginning of their closeness. According to him, the two were frequently seen together, leading to rumors of a romantic relationship. He recounted a moment when Kubra Khan, in a gathering, casually mentioned that “my friend is getting married,” which piqued the curiosity of her friends. When they asked Gohar Rashid about it, he replied, “Yes, one of my friends is getting married too.”

However, when Kubra was asked about the wedding, she became shy and avoided the question, which eventually revealed that the two of them were getting married. Nasir Adeeb pointed out that the couple took nine years to truly understand each other before taking the step towards marriage.

Adeeb also shared a personal story about Kubra Khan’s health struggles, revealing that she had been battling cancer. He praised her courage, noting that she continued her treatment and successfully overcame the illness. He remarked that after this difficult period, Kubra must have decided to move forward in life, which led to her decision to marry Gohar.

Addressing the couple, Nasir Adeeb advised, “Love may lead to marriage, but it is not love that sustains it, it’s mutual understanding and care. If you both understand each other and care for each other, your marriage will be successful.”

Kubra Khan and Gohar Rashid officially tied the knot on February 12, sharing the news on Instagram with a heartfelt post. In the images, they are seen standing in front of the Kaaba, gazing at each other, with their hands resting on the cloth of the Kaaba. The caption reads, “Under the shadow of Allah’s throne, 70,000 angels are bearing witness to our union, and Allah’s mercy is showering upon us.” Kubra Khan also wrote “Qabool Hai” alongside the post.
