Lahore:In an incident at a petrol pump in Garden Town, Lahore, three women have been arrested after allegedly assaulting a sales attendant and subsequently filing a harassment case against him.
CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing the women confronting the young cashier at the cash counter. The footage captures the women physically attacking the attendants, grabbing them by the collar and hair, amidst heated exchanges.
According to reports, one of the women, identified as Imaan Zahra, filed a harassment case against the salesmen, accusing them of making inappropriate gestures. Eyewitnesses intervened during the altercation, prompting the women to leave the scene and later report the incident to the police.
Imaan Zahra, the complainant, has stated that the salesmen verbally abused her when she complained about their behavior. However, the court dismissed the harassment charges filed by the women, citing inaccuracies in their statements.
Police have arrested both salesmen involved in the altercation based on Imaan Zahra’s complaint, charging them with assault. The case is now under investigation to determine the full extent of the incident and the appropriate legal actions.
