JUI-F Rejects PB-45 By-election, Calls it a ‘Sham’ and an ‘Assault on Democracy

Quetta:The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) has vehemently rejected the results of the PB-45 by-election, calling it an electoral drama and a black mark on the face of democracy. In a statement, JUI-F spokesman Aslam Ghori denounced the election, describing it not as a legitimate contest, but as a blatant attack on democratic values.

He stated, “This is not an election; it is a slap in the face of democracy. Rigged elections are a mockery of democratic principles.” He further accused the authorities of attempting to overturn the will of the people through coercion and fraud, calling it a direct assault on democratic principles and the public mandate.

Ghori emphasized that this election was not just an instance of rigging, but a deliberate conspiracy to marginalize the JUI-F. He warned that the party would not back down and would continue to resist such plots, standing firm in defense of the people’s rights.

“The JUI-F will use all its strength to foil such conspiracies and will make any sacrifice necessary to protect the rights of the people,” he asserted. Ghori also took aim at the Election Commission, calling such elections the worst example of democratic practices, which continue to undermine public trust.

“The actions of those who trample on the dignity of democratic institutions are a crime against the nation,” he added. Ghori strongly condemned the rigging in Quetta and reiterated that JUI-F would never accept these manipulated results.

He concluded by promising to expose those responsible for changing the people’s verdict through force, vowing to stay in the field and fight for the preservation of democracy’s sanctity.
