India’s Involvement in Terrorism and Targeted Killings in Pakistan Exposed: Report

Washington Post uncovers role of Indian agency RAW in orchestrating killings using hired assassins and Afghan weapons

Islamabad: A recent report by the global publication The Washington Post has exposed India’s involvement in terrorism and targeted killings in Pakistan, shedding light on the role of the Indian intelligence agency RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) in orchestrating these operations. According to the report, RAW has used hired killers and Afghan weapons to carry out targeted killings of at least six individuals in Pakistan.
The Washington Post highlighted the killing of a Pakistani man, identified as Tamba (real name: Amir Sarfraz), who was shot by two masked assailants in Lahore in April. The attack is part of a broader pattern of covert killings orchestrated by Indian intelligence, the report states.
Evidence gathered by international sources suggests that India has been involved in a covert campaign targeting Pakistani citizens, particularly since 2021. RAW has been accused of running a secret operation that has resulted in the deaths of several Pakistani nationals.
Pakistan’s Interior Minister has also publicly acknowledged India’s direct involvement in these killings, according to the report. The Washington Post referenced a statement from India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, made in 2014, where he had suggested that while direct attacks on Pakistan were unrealistic, India could achieve its objectives through covert means.
The report further reveals that RAW’s covert operations extend beyond Pakistan. The agency has been implicated in extrajudicial killings of Sikh leaders in the US, Canada, and other Western countries. In one case, RAW officer Vikash Yadav allegedly ordered an assassination attempt on a Sikh separatist leader in New York, using local hitmen to carry out the attack.
In Canada, authorities have exposed the involvement of Indian diplomats and RAW operatives in orchestrating acts of terrorism. This includes the targeted killings of Pakistani citizens, such as Muhammad Riaz and Maulana Shahid Latif, whose deaths were found to be linked to Indian intelligence.
Diplomatic experts have called on the international community to take strong action against India’s aggressive and unlawful behavior, noting that India’s actions violate international laws and pose a severe threat to global peace and security. These revelations highlight the ongoing challenges posed by Indian interference in other nations, especially in the context of terrorism and targeted killings.
