Government Orders Civil Servants to Declare Assets: Major Decision in Sindh

Islamabad: Attention government employees! The Sindh government has made a significant decision, requiring civil servants to disclose the details of their assets. A formal notice has been issued in this regard.
According to the notice, government officers from Grade 17 to 22 are now mandated to submit an annual declaration of their assets. The details must be submitted through the relevant departments within the next 60 days.
The request for asset declarations comes under the Sindh Civil Servant Rules, 2008, which require officials to provide a comprehensive list of their assets, including cash holdings, business interests, and the value of properties owned.
The notice further states that the Sindh government will maintain a secure record of this data. Any officer failing to submit their asset details within the given timeframe will face disciplinary action.
This move aims to enhance transparency and accountability within the government sector in Sindh.
