FIA Begins Profiling of Youth from Specific Cities After Deaths in Illegal Migration Attempts
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has initiated the profiling of youth from specific cities in Pakistan, following recent deaths of Pakistani youths attempting to illegally migrate to Europe. According to media reports, the profiling comes in the wake of tragic incidents, such as boat capsizes in Greece and Libya.
Following the directives from the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the FIA has started profiling young individuals from certain cities, including Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, and Gujranwala, after these incidents.
Under this new measure, young individuals traveling abroad for the first time who fail to provide a valid reason for their journey will be offloaded from flights. Additionally, youths suspected of attempting to disappear upon reaching their destination may also be offloaded.
